Outpatient Occupational Therapist/ OT

Certified as a Comprehensive Outpatient Rehabilitation Facility (CORF), Legacy Rehabilitation Group provides professional, high-quality outpatient therapy and pain management to the Twin Cities Metro and beyond. Overview of Responsibilities
  • Gather pertinent patient data, including past & current health status
  • Test, measure, and assess patient’s current condition and abilities, to generate a therapy diagnosis
  • Provide education to patient and other appropriate parties, working collaboratively in conjunction with clinical judgement to establish treatment goals
  • Design, implement, and modify research-based treatments based on anticipated optimal outcomes
  • Re-assess for measurable outcomes, modify goals and treatment plan per discipline guidelines
  • Promote rehabilitation services through professional conduct, customer service and ensuring patient safety and satisfaction
  • Other duties as assigned by direct manager
  • Current Minnesota OT license
  • Completed degree from accredited Occupational Therapy program
  • Move independently throughout clinic/office setting, with ability to bend, reach, stoop, and stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to maintain professional conduct, work collaboratively and communicate effectively with colleagues, interdisciplinary team, patients, and families
  • Good time management, judgement, & problem-solving skills
  • Adaptable to implement new treatment strategies based on latest research
  • Ability to accurately document treatments per regulatory and professional standards
  • For those traveling to multiple clinic locations, a valid Minnesota driver’s license is required
  • Experience in Hand Therapy is preferred
