We offer Yoga classes every Wednesday. 

Legacy Rehabilitation Group is now offering yoga classes on Wednesdays from 5-6 p.m. at our main clinic in Golden Valley! All abilities are welcome and your first class is free! All classes after that are $10 per person.

We are proud to partner with Samadhi Yoga MPLS yoga studio, who provides the instructors for our weekly class. Samadhi is committed to providing a safe and welcoming space to honor the practice of yoga and healing, and committed to creating a heart- and human-centered space that’s aligned with teaching and learning the authentic teachings of yoga.

Whether you’re a beginner or advanced yoga student, the benefits of yoga include greater flexibility and strength, improved core strength, better mental endurance, and improved posture.  If used in conjunction with conventional physical therapy, new research is suggesting that yoga has the ability to aid with treating multiple muscles at once, potentially speeding up recovery, improving muscle movement and focus the mind.

Timing

Doors will open 15 minutes before class starts. Arriving at least 10 minutes before class starts helps make for a smooth transition to physically, mentally, and energetically arrive on your mat.

Getting Here

Free and plentiful street parking can be found on Boone Avenue, and there are a limited amount of spots available in our parking lot.  

Mats + Towels

We have a limited number of mats and hand towels to borrow if you don’t have one or forgot it at home.

Injuries

Please let the teacher know prior to the beginning of class if you have any injuries, pains, special conditions or had a recent surgery that may be relevant to your yoga practice. This includes knee pain, back problems, arthritis, high blood pressure, and more.

Pregnancy

Yoga can be very beneficial during pregnancy and after giving birth. If you’re comfortable sharing, please tell the teacher before class begins if you’re pregnant or have recently given birth so they can offer you variations and modifications when appropriate.
